Saint Meena Coptic Orthodox Church

The Saint Meena Coptic Orthodox Church is a new spiritual landmark in Fort Worth, Texas, designed to provide a modern and inspiring space for worship and community. Designed by Masterplan Design, the 11,734-square-foot facility includes a 7,556-square-foot main church and a 4,178-square-foot Sunday school. The project successfully balances functional needs with an aesthetic that honors the Coptic Orthodox tradition, creating a serene environment for reflection and fellowship.

A Vision of Light: A central theme of the church’s design is the use of natural light to create a divine and hopeful atmosphere. Binswanger Glass was entrusted to execute the architectural glazing, ensuring that light would enhance the worship space while maintaining energy efficiency and structural integrity.

Precision Installation: The Binswanger Glass team meticulously installed the architectural glass to ensure a seamless visual connection between the interior and exterior. The glazing was chosen and fitted to complement the building’s geometry, allowing sunlight to illuminate the sanctuary without creating issues with glare or heat gain.

Collaborative Design: The project represents a successful collaboration between the architect, engineers, and construction teams. Binswanger’s role was to ensure the glazing visually integrated with the structural and MEP engineering provided by InnoDez, contributing to a cohesive and beautiful final structure that serves as a cornerstone for its community.
