UHD Wellness and Success Center (WSC)

In the heart of the University of Houston – Downtown UHD campus is the new UHD Wellness and Success Center (WSC).  This “game-changing” building offers UHD students more opportunities for health and wellness amenities including exercise studios, weight/cardio training, basketball court, bouldering wall, demonstration kitchen classroom and an indoor running track. Coincidentally, the WSC parking lot is in exact location that the very first Binswanger Glass of Houston was built!

• Storefront System: Kawneer Trifab® VersaGlaze® 451 Framing system in anodized dark bronze featuring GPX® Architectural Series Fire Resistive doors with Superlite II-XL 60 with one hour fire resistive glazing infill.
• Entrances: Kawneer 500 Standard Entrances (dark bronze anodized) – 10-ft. vestibule doors
• Interior: ¼” clear tempered and ¼” mirrors for the locker rooms, fitness area, and dance studio from Clarity Glass.

• Shower Doors: 3/8” clear tempered fabricated by Precision Glass Industries
• Hardware: Removable Mullions, Electrified Panic Devices, Continuous Hinges, Electrified Mortise Locksets from Knowles Door Check Co.
